2026 vs 2027 Lincoln Nautilus: Buy Now or Wait? A Las Vegas Buyer’s Guide

Black luxury SUV displayed inside a bright dealership showroom

Short answer: Buy a 2026 Lincoln Nautilus now if you want to drive one this season, like the current design, or want to pick from vehicles you can see and test-drive today. As of November 2, 2026, all 35 new Nautilus SUVs at Team Lincoln Las Vegas are 2026 models, and 32 of them are hybrids. Order a 2027 if you want the refreshed design, the hybrid Lincoln lists at 310 horsepower (285 on the 2026), and the Lincoln Security Package, which lincoln.com calls new for Nautilus. Lincoln says the 2027 is available for retail order now, with anticipated arrival in early 2027. The basics don’t change between the two years: two rows and five seats, standard all-wheel drive, the 48-inch panoramic display, four years of BlueCruise, and three trims (Premiere, Reserve and Black Label).

This guide covers only the buy-now-or-wait decision, using what lincoln.com publishes for each model year (checked November 2, 2026). For the full list of 2027 changes, colors and order steps, read our 2027 Lincoln Nautilus what’s new and how to order guide. For 2026 trim details, see our 2026 Nautilus trims guide.

What you get by waiting for the 2027

We won’t repeat the full what’s-new list here (it’s in our 2027 Nautilus guide), but these are the changes that should drive the decision:

  • More hybrid output. lincoln.com lists the 2027’s 2.0L High Output turbocharged hybrid at 310 horsepower. The 2026 hybrid is listed at 285 total combined horsepower and 295 lb-ft.
  • The Lincoln Security Package. Lincoln calls it “new for Nautilus”: Start Inhibit and Theft Alerts managed in the Lincoln app, plus Stolen Vehicle Services with a dedicated toll-free number, included for four years. The 2026 Nautilus page doesn’t mention it.
  • A refreshed design. New front and rear styling, two new colors, five new wheel designs plus one refreshed wheel, a new Afterglow interior, and two new Black Label themes, including Eminent Hour, which Lincoln says was inspired by a desert sunset.

What you get by buying a 2026 now

  • Published numbers you can plan around. lincoln.com’s 2026 FAQ lists the hybrid at 29 city / 31 highway / 30 combined EPA-estimated mpg and the standard 2.0L turbo (250 hp, 280 lb-ft) at 21 / 29 / 24. It also lists a 1,750-lb max towing capacity with the dealer-installed Class I Trailer Tow Package, for both powertrains and all trims.
  • The same core experience. The 2026 has the 48-inch panoramic display with an 11.1-inch center display, standard all-wheel drive, BlueCruise with Automatic Lane Change included for four years on every trim, and the Lincoln Connectivity Package included for four years.
  • Hybrid on every trim. Lincoln says the 2026 hybrid is available on all models, and nearly all of our current 2026 stock is hybrid.
  • Published warranty terms. The 2026 page lists 4 years/50,000 miles bumper-to-bumper, 6 years/70,000 miles powertrain, and 8 years/100,000 miles on hybrid-unique components. The 2027 page doesn’t list warranty terms yet, so ask us for them when you order.

A note on colors and Black Label themes

As of November 2, Lincoln’s 2026 colorizer includes Whisper Blue and Silver Radiance, and the 2026 Black Label themes are Chalet and Aurora. None of these appear on the 2027 colorizer, which lists Eminent Hour and Elysian Light for Black Label. If one of them is your favorite, a 2026 is the way to get it, and we can check which in-stock units have it.

How to decide in four questions

  1. When do you need it? If the answer is “before the holidays” or “this winter,” shop the 2026s on our lot. If you can wait until the 2027 arrives, Lincoln says it can be ordered now.
  2. Hybrid or gas? On a 2026, the hybrid is available on every trim, and 32 of our 35 are hybrids. On a 2027, ask us which trims can be ordered with each powertrain.
  3. Does the Security Package or the new look matter to you? If yes, that’s the strongest reason to wait.
  4. Are you trading in? Get a trade-in value either way, and tell us your timing so we can plan around it.

Whichever year you choose, ask us to run the VIN through Lincoln’s recall lookup with you before you sign.

For West and Southwest Valley drivers: both years get Pickup & Delivery

Whichever model year you choose, Lincoln Pickup & Delivery can handle service visits. Per lincoln.com, a Lincoln Service Valet will come anywhere within 20 miles of your preferred retailer (50 miles for Black Label owners), pick up your Nautilus and leave you a Lincoln Loaner. The program covers Lincoln vehicles within four years of the new-vehicle warranty start date or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first, and it’s subject to retailer availability.

We sell and service Nautilus SUVs for drivers across the west and southwest valley:

  • Summerlin and The Ridges (89135, 89138, 89144)
  • The Lakes (89117)
  • Southern Highlands (89148)

Whether your address falls inside the 20-mile radius depends on its distance from 5446 Drexel Road, so ask when you schedule and we’ll confirm.
